I want to get a pop up screen room some time soon. Do you call it a pop up screen room or a pop up canopy or tent? I call it a pop up screen room and my wife and I ‘argue’ about what it should be called. I was thinking it would be cool to go camping with. We have this place on the beach in hampton nh where we like to camp during the summer. Last year I saw this guy who had a pop up screen rooms et up and it looked pretty cool:
Looks easy to set up and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Screen rooms in general are pretty cool and I actually started this blog as a way to research screen rooms. I am a friggen cheapskate and a research nut so put them together and not only can I avoid actually comitting to anything but I can prolong it indefinitely while I do my research. Yeah, I’m a procrastinator too so put it all together and here I am at my blog writing about screen rooms. But today it’s all about pop up screen rooms.
These pop up screen room kind of look like tents but it’s not a tent. A tent looks like a tent. It has tent walls that you can’t see through. A pop up screen rooms have screen panels for walls and of course you can see through them. Up here in NH it gets pretty buggy during the summer. Not so bad at the beach but anywhere else it’s murder. You definitely need a screen room if you plan on sitting outside.
The thing is with the pop up screen room you can take them with you on vacation and set them up anywhere. They are relatively inexepensive so that’s really really really good. I’m cheap and I have no problem admitting it. So, my wife wants me to get a screen room for the yard but she want like a really fancy and nice one. Think expensive screen room. I want a cheapo just to keep the bugs out and that’s enough.
So I want to talk her into getting a pop up screen room kit as it’s way cheaper and we can use it on vacation. I’ve seen a few places onlline selling pop up screen rooms and they come in different sizes and shapes. I kind of want a big one so we can spread out a bit but at the same time sometimes we like to go camping in the woods. Yes my wife actually likes camping more than I do. Amazing I know. But sometimes it’s hard to find a big enough space to set up a pop up screen room o I will probably go for a medium sized one.
